Do I need prior Pilates experience? +
We expect a minimum of 6 months of consistent Reformer practice. You don't need a prior certification, but you do need a body that already understands the work.
How many hours is the Born Pilates certification? +
The certification pathway requires a minimum of 175 hours, combining in person training, observation, personal practice, practical teaching, mentorship, video review, and a final practical assessment.
Is there really a guaranteed teaching job? +
Yes. Both programs include guaranteed job placement once you certify. Our graduates teach at partner studios including Agape Movement and Sama Sculpt, and across Asia.
Is the training fully in person? +
The program combines live in person Reformer education with structured independent practice, mentorship, video review, and practical teaching
What happens after I graduate? +
You join the Born Pilates teaching family for life. Free ongoing training, priority hiring at our partner studios, and a global network of 100+ instructors across Asia.
Where can I take the training? +

What does the final assessment involve? +
The final assessment is practical. You teach an approximately 50-60 minute Reformer session to a practice client, followed by examiner questions and feedback.
What happens if I don't pass the practical assessment? +
If additional competency is required, you may be asked to make corrections and resubmit your assessment. Certification is competency based, so completing the required hours alone does not automatically result in full certification.
What happens after the in person training? +
You continue with observation, personal practice, practical teaching, mentorship, video submissions, and feedback before completing the final assessment.
Is mentorship included? +
Yes. The certification pathway includes structured mentorship, mentor feedback, and video review to support your development throughout the pathway.
When do I receive my certification? +
You receive a Certificate of Completion of Training after the intensive. Full Born Pilates Reformer Certification is awarded once all pathway requirements are completed and the final practical assessment is passed.
Can I complete the certification requirements from another country? +
Yes. Post workshop requirements may be completed internationally, with mentorship and assessment support available remotely where applicable.
How is the training delivered? +
The core of the training is in person. You'll work with real equipment, real bodies, and real feedback, supported by practice, observation, mentorship, and assessment throughout the pathway.
