Frequently asked.

What's the difference between Malaysia and Bali?+
Both lead to the same Born Pilates Reformer certification and the same guaranteed job placement. Malaysia is a 7-day in-person intensive in Johor Bahru ($1,600 USD, next intake 7 to 13 September 2026). Bali is an 8-day, 7-night retreat in Amed that combines the certification with accommodation, all meals, diving, and snorkeling (from $3,500 USD, 24 to 31 August 2026). Pick the experience that fits your life.
Do I need prior Pilates experience?+
We expect a minimum of 6 months of consistent Reformer practice. You don't need a prior certification, but you do need a body that already understands the work.
Will the certification be recognised internationally?+
Yes. Born Pilates certification is recognised across our partner studio network in Malaysia, Indonesia, and Taiwan, and meets the practical-hour standards for boutique studio employers across Asia and beyond.
Is there really a guaranteed teaching job?+
Yes. Both programs include guaranteed job placement once you certify. Our graduates teach at partner studios including Agape Movement and Sama Sculpt, and across Asia.
Do you offer payment plans?+
Yes. Two-part and three-part payment plans are available for both programs. We'll walk you through them on your application call.
